Autism Awareness Training
EDUCATE to ELEVATE AWARENESS
As our society is becoming more familiar with Autism Spectrum Order (ASD) and other Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD) through loved ones (their child or family member) and community encounters (classmates, neighbors, customers, and other public places), it is imperative to offer proper knowledge and additional resources to the community.
Each of our training session is customized to the profession/organization.
The training will be developed to teach each participant the following, but not limited to:
- Increase knowledge about ASD and IDD
- Possible indicators of a special-needs individual
- Triggers and de-escalation strategies
- How to help/assist the individual/care provider
- Additional resources within the community
As a parent advocate, to a smart, funny, and lovable son with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I offer real-life experience and perspectives to the world of ASD.
