What is Workplace Harassment?
Workplace harassment is unwelcome and unwanted behavior that impedes employee rights to work in an environment that is safe and free of harassment. Harassment is based on gender, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or age (40 years+). Harassment becomes illegal when such conduct becomes a condition of continued employment OR the conduct is severe or pervasive enough to create a work environment that a reasonable person would consider hostile, abusive, or intimidation.
